The online portfolio of web developer Alex Martin

For my final year project I was asked to lead a project in developing a system which would allow Kingston University faculty representatives to update course entry requirements online.

The system was written in XHTML, CSS, PHP and connected to a MySQL database. AJAX techniques were also used.

While generating ideas for my final year project I developed a system which held details of a particular band's gigs. In the end I chose a different project to proceed with, but I may come back to this one in the future.

A small two-page website for a company specialising in gift boxes for those in hospital.

II designed a website for a company called Royal Holdings who sell apartments in Sri Lanka. The website was originally meant to be a static 5-page website, but as time went on I developed the site to have it's own Content Management System, allowing the company owner to update the site himself from anywhere in the world.
